Opposition to a proposed casino 1/2 mile from the Gettysburg NMP
In 2005 Muriel Rice was invited to the Gettysburg Hotel for the announcement by casino investors of their plans to build a casino 1 mile from hallowed ground. Muriel sat at a table with another local activist, Mark Berg. Mark began speaking critically about the proposal and was escorted from the meeting. David LeVan’s Casino lawsuits were settled September 2012.
David LeVan spent plenty of time dealing with four lawsuits related to his most recent failed bid to place a casino near the hallowed ground of Gettysburg. All four lawsuits have now been settled.
